Relocation of Public Housing Admissions Office and Centralization of Admissions & Occupancy Services
The Northwest Georgia Housing Authority (NWGHA) is committed to improving customer service, increasing efficiency, and providing better access to services.
Effective June 1, 2026, the current Public Housing Admissions Office will be relocated to NWGHA's Housing Choice Voucher Office, which offers a larger and better-equipped space to serve applicants and residents. By combining these two departments, NWGHA is streamlining its Admissions & Occupancy services into one centralized location to better serve our residents and our community.
Beginning on that date, all Public Housing admissions and occupancy functions will be centralized at the current Housing Choice Voucher Office location. Effective June 1, the office will be renamed the Admissions & Occupancy Department.
