The Village in Cave Spring
Northwest Georgia Housing Authority's application for the redevelopment of the low-income housing development formerly known as the Cave Spring Housing Authority located at 121 Fincher Street has been selected for funding under the 2024 9% Housing Tax Credit Competitive Round through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
The total development cost of $17,696,778 will result in the demolition of the existing 52 public housing and Section 8 units and the new construction of 58 affordable units consisting of 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom apartments.
Northwest Georgia Housing Authority is excited to provide newly constructed, high-quality affordable housing to the Cave Spring community. Site amenities will include a playground and community building, complete with a computer center, laundry facility, leasing office, and covered patio for exterior gathering.
